What We Collect and Why

1. Website (i-x.ai)

What we collect: This is a static website. For cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics we use Plausible Analytics (see “Web analytics with Plausible Analytics” below). Beyond that, we do not use tracking pixels or other third-party analytics or tracking scripts. No cookies are set beyond those strictly necessary for the site to function.

What we don't collect: No cookies, no session data, no browser fingerprinting, no cross-site or cross-device tracking, and no storage of raw IP addresses.

Legal basis: For the analytics described below, our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); apart from that, no personal data is processed through the website itself.

2. Email Communication

What we collect: If you contact us via email at ix@isegrim-x.com, we collect your email address and the content of your message.

Why: To respond to your inquiry.

Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you initiate the communication.

Third-Party Processors

Infomaniak provides website hosting in Switzerland under a data processing agreement. i-x.ai is a static website hosted on Infomaniak infrastructure in Switzerland. Plausible Insights OÜ provides privacy-friendly web analytics under a data processing agreement (see “Web analytics with Plausible Analytics” below). No other third-party processors are involved in serving this website.

Web analytics with Plausible Analytics

We use the web analytics service Plausible Analytics on this website. The provider is Plausible Insights OÜ, Västriku tn 2, 50403 Tartu, Estonia (“Plausible”).

Plausible takes a privacy-first approach. The service does not set cookies, does not use persistent identifiers, and does not store any information in your browser. There is no cross-site or cross-device tracking. Only aggregated usage data is collected, including: pages visited, referral source, approximate location (country), device type, operating system, and browser. IP address and user agent are used solely to generate a daily, non-reversible hash; the salt used for this is rotated and deleted every 24 hours. Raw IP addresses are never stored. All visitor data is processed and stored on servers in Germany (Falkenstein) and never leaves the EU.

Processing is based on our legitimate interest in measuring and improving the use of our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You have the right to object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).

We have concluded a data processing agreement with Plausible in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

Data Transfers Outside the EU

Switzerland has an EU adequacy decision. No personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA through this website.

How Long We Keep Your Data

Email correspondence is kept for 12 months after last contact, then deleted from our systems. If you request deletion before this period expires, we will process your request within 30 days.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies. No cookie consent banner is required.

If we add analytics or other services in the future that require cookies, this policy will be updated and a consent mechanism will be implemented before any non-essential cookies are set.

Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access. Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification. Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion. Ask us to delete your data.

If you believe we are processing your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In Germany, this is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg.
